Washington Football Team

Like the Giants, Washington is a team that needs a lot of help. For them, it is more on the offensive end. Chase Young was a huge addition to a defense with great potential. The offense in Washington is young and unknown heading into 2020. It begins with Dwayne Haskins, who needs to take the next step in year two. It would help if his team added a tight end.

Washington signed Thaddeus Moss as an undrafted free agent in 2020. They also signed Logan Thomas to a free agent deal. They will join Jeremy Sprinkle and Hale Hentges. This is an unimpressive group. Washington is hoping Moss can turn into a productive player but it will take some time. A name to watch is Gerald Everett of the Los Angeles Rams.

Tyler Higbee has stepped up into the No. 1 tight end role nicely in Los Angeles. Brycen Hopkins was a draft pick of the Rams in the 2020 NFL Draft. This leaves them room to trade Everett if they feel the need.

Everett played in 13 games last season. He finished with 37 catches for 408 yards and two touchdowns. With Higbee taking over as the premier option, Everett could find a home in Washington.
