Carolina Panthers

Curtis Samuel has been a name that has floated around trade rumors for the Panthers. He is entering the final year of his rookie contract and it is important to note that he has not received an extension so his future in Carolina is up in the air.

Rhule is the new head coach and he could choose to cut ties with Samuel. Robby Anderson signed with the Panthers and he will be opposite D.J Moore on the outside. Samuel is a distant third receiver on the depth chart.

If traded, Samuel could bring back a defensive piece and this is something that would be beneficial to the Panthers. It would be a needed move to better compete in the NFC South in 2020.

There are plenty of trade partners the Panthers could call. The Green Bay Packers immediately one to mind. The Philadelphia Eagles could also be a good partner if they want to move Sidney Jones or Rasul Douglas. The Washington Football Team is another team in need of offensive help.
