4. Aaron Rodgers – Green Bay Packers
For most quarterbacks, throwing for 4,002 passing yards and 26 touchdowns with a 62% completion percentage and only throwing four interceptions sounds like an incredible season. However, Aaron Rodgers isn’t most quarterbacks.
Last year was the first year people really started questioning Rodgers’ greatness. This seems especially odd because the Packers had a 13-3 record. Perhaps people were just so used to Rodgers having to do everything by himself.
If you have any questions about Rodgers’ greatness, just ask the Raiders how good he is. In Week 7, he accounted for 429 passing yards and five passing touchdowns in a 42-24 victory over the Raiders. Rodgers also ran for a touchdown that game, bringing his total to six touchdowns. Aaron only threw six incompletions.
Rodgers can still make throws many quarterbacks wouldn’t even dare attempt. Although the 49ers game left a poor taste in many people’s mouths, Rodgers is still elite. The Packers offense still runs off the elite arm of Aaron Rodgers.
This year, he will be out to prove a lot of his doubters wrong.
