Dak Prescott Enters Biggest Year To Date With Cowboys

This could be the year where Dak Prescott really helps the Dallas Cowboys take the next step in their franchise and they have success from start to finish.

Prescott and the Cowboys missed the playoffs last season and didn’t win a division championship, but overall the Cowboys offense under Prescott will have a new look and feel with new head coach Mike McCarthy. That could be a blessing for Prescott, as this year he’s playing for the largest contract of his career.

With the incentive of a huge payday in front of him, the Cowboys quarterback — who threw 30 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 2020 — also has a very talented offense around him. With Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, and rookie first-round pick CeeDee Lamb to throw the football to, well, big numbers have to be in store for Prescott.

Oh, Prescott also has Ezekiel Elliott in the backfield, and a talented offensive line on the offense, so if the top players are able to stay healthy and on the field with Presscott, his 4,902 yards passed for last season will easily eclipse the 5,000 yards passing mark in 2020, which would be a career-high.

Prescott will have a very strong season for the Cowboys, and he has a great opportunity in front of him to showcase his passing skills with a very talented group of wide receivers and offensive teammates.
