Panthers: 3 bold predictions for Teddy Bridgewater in Week 1 vs. Raiders

Teddy Bridgewater, Panthers
NFL Analysis Network

This offseason was a crazy one at the quarterback position for the Carolina Panthers. After seeming to commit to Cam Newton for another season, the franchise surprisingly changed their mind and released him. Following that decision, the Panthers moved quickly to bring in free agent quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.

After an impressive fill-in job for the New Orleans Saints last season when Drew Brees went down with an injury, Bridgewater earned himself another starting job. Just a few years back during his time with the Minnesota Vikings, Bridgewater was considered one of the top up-and-coming quarterbacks in the game.

Unfortunately, his time with the Vikings came to an end following a gruesome leg injury. He actually almost ended up losing his leg due to the injury.

Despite the major setback, Bridgewater has fought back valiantly. He is now the face of the Panthers’ franchise and should be their starter for awhile. No one is more deserving of this opportunity than Bridgewater.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at three bold predictions for Teddy Bridgewater in his debut with the Panthers against the Raiders.
