4. Add Offensive Line Depth

The Patriots have a strong offensive line and that should continue in 2020. Pro Football Focus had its line ranked 10th in 2019. Center Ted Karras left New England for the Miami Dolphins in free agency but the rest of the line, if healthy, should carry this unit. However, a team could never have too much depth.

David Andrews is a name that could be responsible for replacing Karras at the center position. It was important for the Patriots to bring back Joe Thuney for 2020.

He signed the franchise tender that will pay him $14.7 million for the 2020 season. It is likely that New England will be able to reach an agreement with Thuney on a long term extension.

Isaiah Wynn, Shaq Mason, and Korey Cunningham will round out the offensive line. After this, depth goes a bit thin. There are still some quality veteran lineman on the free agent market and it would be smart for the Patriots to add one.
