2. Trade for Tampa Bay Tight End

The days of Rob Gronkowski are over. He has decided to come out of retirement and join Brady in Tampa Bay. Because of this development, the tight end room for the Bucs has become awfully crowded along with O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate.

There are many teams that could be interested in one of the Bucs’ tight ends. It is unknown if the Bucs would even want to deal Howard or Brate but the Patriots should take a chance.

This is not to say that one of the two, or both, tight ends drafted in 2020 are not going to be productive. This is just saying that adding a veteran who is a proven pass catcher would help the offense.

It would be extremely interesting to see Brady leave New England for Tampa Bay, then the Patriots trade for one of his tight ends. Brate would be a perfect fit for New England and a target that Newton would like in the red zone.
