1. Seattle Seahawks
Seattle always seems to be hovering at the top of the NFC West and the biggest reason for that has been Russel Wilson. Is this the year that Wilson finally earns an MVP vote after being a top three quarterback in the league the last few years?
The Seahawks certainly have the skill players around him to make that happen. Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf are both hoping to see some improvement this year and that could spell a record-setting year for the offense.
The defense made a huge splash with the trade for Jamal Adams this offseason to add a spark to the secondary. Adams is one of the best safeties in the game and should help shore down what the Seahawks like to do in the back. Adding that to Bobby Wagner and Seattle has two of the best defensive players in the NFL playing together.
The Seahawks are a stable team in the NFC West with a coach and quarterback who have both won at the biggest stages. This team will be able to hold off some of the rising talents in the division for at least the 2020 season.
Seattle is desperate to take advantage of Russel Wilson’s prime years and the push to go all-in with Adams show this is the team to beat in the NFC West.
