Russell Wilson
If there is one reason that Seattle has a chance to win their division and make it to a Super Bowl every year it is because of their star quarterback. Russell Wilson has established himself as one of the absolute best in the game. He is a human highlight real when he escapes the pocket and makes his receivers look great.
This year the hope is that with an improved offensive line and some additional rotational pieces on offense, this could be the year that Russel Wilson receivers MVP votes.
With a quarterback that most teams will mortgage the future to have, Seattle will always be a contender in the Wilson era. There are some good teams with fun offenses to watch in the NFC West, but Wilson is the cream of the crop in terms of starting quarterbacks.
Last year was one of the best Wilson years we have been privileged to watch, and with more pieces around him he could build on those impressive numbers. Wilson has never had a losing season since coming to the NFL and a lot would have to go wrong for 2020 to be his first. Instead a more likely first is to make his first ever First-Team All-Pro and start getting MVP recognition.
