Finish At Least Average in Pass Defense
There’s a lot to like about the Seattle Seahawks but one area that’s continued to be a weakness since the end of the Legion of Boom era has been their pass coverage. With Jamal Adams now in the picture, there’s a real outlook for improvement.

Part of the issue for the Seahawks’ pass coverage is that they did not receive a whole lot of support in the pass rush department. The Jadeveon Clowney situation still needs to play out and if he returns, there is real reason for optimism in this area. If not, well, that’s a different story.
The impact of adding an elite safety to a defense should not be understated. There are key areas that serve as the foundation of a unit that get bolstered, making it easier for other players to be successful. That’s why finishing in the top half of passing yards allowed needs to be a goal.
