Should the New Orleans Saints Shop Mark Ingram on the Trade Market?

The Answer

Though New Orleans would benefit from listening to some offers for Ingram, shopping for really, really him is not the best option here.

Without a mind-boggling offer out of desperation from a team in dire need of a 1,000-yard to imagine Ingram changing jerseys.

The offense is clicking on all cylinders and there is little reason to break it up.

Ingram will be 30 by the end of the next season, which is somewhat concerning, but offenses tend to run their courses before they get dismantled by father time.

When Brees heads to greener pastures, then maybe it’ll be time to ship off Ingram. The bottom line is, until Brees calls it quits, Ingram should call NOLA his home.
