Philadephia Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles are coming off a 9-7 campaign that miraculously ended in an NFC East title. The Eagles main concern is keeping their quarterback healthy for one playoff game but they have a glaring need at wide receiver.
Philadelphia lost both Alshon Jeffrey and Nelson Agholor within a week of each other. This forced names like Greg Ward and J.J. Arcega-Whiteside to step up. The Eagles have a lot of holes to fill on their team but their receiving core desperately needs to get younger.
Alshon Jeffrey will turn 30 years old in February and still has two years left on his contract. Philadelphia brought back 33 year old Desean Jackson back and that turned out to be the wrong move as he missed most of the season with an injury. No surprises there. Finally, it is likely that the Eagles decide to part ways with Agholor.
Philadelphia found a hidden gem in Ward who stepped up and played well down the stretch of the season. They still have one of the best pass catching tight ends in Zach Ertz and his contract should be extended soon. Drafting Higgins would make the Eagles younger, deeper, and give Carson Wentz a legit weapon to throw the ball to.
