The Vikings have featured one of the top receiving duos in the league over the last few years. Adam Thielen will be back as the team’s No. 1 option but Stefon Diggs is now in Buffalo. The Vikings traded their star receiver to the Bills in exchange for a first round pick.
Minnesota used one of their two first-round selections on LSU standout Justin Jefferson. He will be on the opposite side of Thielen which means Cousins will have plenty of weapons to work with once again. It continues with Kyle Rudolph and Irv Smith Jr. at tight end.
The Vikings also have the luxury of having an elite running back in Dalvin Cook. When healthy, Cook is a game-changing player that takes the offense up a notch.
The Vikings have made great strides in improving their offensive line. They used their first-round pick in 2019 on center Garrett Bradbury. Minnesota signed Dakota Dozier in the offseason. Riley Reiff and Pat Elflein will be back on the offensive line in 2020. The Vikings have put together a complete offense for the upcoming season.
To be an MVP caliber player, you have to have some help at the skill positions. This is what Cousins has and it is up to him to put it all together.
