Will Total at Least 7 TDs
The Raiders didn’t have much for big-play threats last season and that’s a key reason why Henry Ruggs III will be so important. Whether he is the one getting into the end-zone or taking attention from someone else to do it, he will help Las Vegas to put up more points in 2020.
There were plenty of rookie receivers that managed to reach seven touchdowns last season. For reference, A.J. Brown (8), Darius Slayton (8), Marquise Brown (7), Terry McLaurin (7), and DK Metcalf (7) all managed to meet this mark.
Teams will likely key in on Ruggs III and make it difficult for him to get into the end-zone at a high volume. There will only be so much they can do considering they have to worry about a talented backfield threat and tight end option in addition to Ruggs III.
If the Raiders had an elite quarterback or another dynamic receiver to take further attention away from the defense, Ruggs III would likely find the end-zone more. An expectation of seven receiving touchdowns given the current landscape of Las Vegas’ roster isn’t too unreasonable.
