3 reasons the Browns should make a major run at Jadeveon Clowney

Form a dynamic defensive end duo

The thought of having Jadeveon Clowney opposite of Myles Garrett on the edge should be worrisome for opposing offenses. It’s not often a team has the chance to form a duo of that caliber and the Browns should look to make it happen if the opportunity presents itself.

The San Francisco 49ers recently showed the benefits of taking advantage of every opportunity to formulate a dominant defensive line. While those arrangements don’t typically last for many years, it can help a team make a run at a Super Bowl appearance in the right situation.

By having two highly impactful defensive ends setting the tone for the defense, the rest of the unit would naturally benefit. It would become easier for complementary pass rushers to get to the quarterback and enable a greater margin for error in pass coverage.
