Lions Will Remain a Non-Factor
The Detroit Lions will undoubtedly be a better team in 2020 than they were just a season ago. It would be difficult for them to not accomplish that considering they posted just a 3-12-1 record last season.
Despite adding a variety of new key pieces and getting Matthew Stafford back from injury, the Lions will continue to be a non-factor in the NFC North. They should be able to make matchups competitive with their division rivals in head-to-head situations though.
There is legitimate potential for the Lions to have an impressive passing attack but the rest of their roster is concerning. They struggled mightily to produce on defense and had a poor running game last season, both of which continue to appear to be problems.
The Packers probably won’t have to view the Lions as a threat when competing for the NFC North title in 2020. Detroit still has plenty of work to do when it comes to solidifying its roster to be in a position to win the NFC North for the first time since 1993.
