2. Better Luck Next Year, Broncos

There was plenty of justifiable reason for excitement surrounding the Broncos prior to the start of the season. Now, the team is 0-3 and has a troubling number of key players sidelined due to injury.

It’s quite possible the Broncos defeat the Jets in Week 4, but overall, the remainder of their schedule features no shortage of challenging matchups. Denver will soon face a steep uphill climb to work their way back into contention for a Wild Card spot.

The remainder of this season will serve as a valuable opportunity for young players like Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler to gain experience and develop. They will be ready to roll from the start of the 2021 NFL season with Courtland Sutton making his return to the lineup.

After another NFL Draft to add talent and using free agency next offseason, the Broncos could be quite an intriguing team next season. In the meantime, they will struggle to get many wins.
