1. Kyler Murray Continues to Impress

It was just a week ago when the Washington Football Team managed to catch the Eagles by surprise. Carson Wentz was sacked eight times and he turned the ball over on three possessions — ending in a 27-17 loss.

The front-seven for Washington made their presence felt against the Eagles in ways they didn’t often do against the Cardinals. A critical factor in that discrepancy is the mobility and instincts of Kyler Murray, who was sacked only three times and rushed for 67 yards and two touchdowns.

Not only did Murray manage to get the job done with his legs in this matchup, he succeeded on his pass attempts, too. In fact, Murray completed 26-of-38 (68.4%) pass attempts resulting in 286 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.

After leading the Cardinals to a win in Week 1 against the reigning NFC champions, Murray followed it up with another strong outing. Both opponents have highly impactful front-sevens, so his positive contributions should not be taken lightly.
