Malcolm Brown
For the Los Angeles Rams to come out with the win against the Philadelphia Eagles, Malcolm Brown will need to continue to be assertive in the rushing attack. Against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1, Brown rushed for 79 yards on 18 attempts with two touchdowns.
While he will split the running back duties with Cam Akers, Brown is still the go-to-guy for the Rams. The Eagles’ front seven, despite their various injuries up front, held the Washington Football Team to 80 yards rushing on 30 attempts.
The Rams rushed for 153 yards on 43 attempts with an average of 3.8 yards per carry, so there’s a real need for improvement. Los Angeles’ offensive line will have their work cut out for them on Sunday.
If Jared Goff can get the air attack going, that will open the lanes for Brown to do his work. He should see more than the 18 attempts he saw last week against the Cowboys.
