Jalen Reagor
Throughout the 2019 season, it was apparent that the Eagles lacked depth at the wide receiver position. Altogether, DeSean Jackson, Alshon Jeffery, and Nelson Agholor would all sustain injuries during the 2019 season.
As a result, Philadelphia’s offense sputtered at times, leaving Wentz without a proper arsenal of weapons to work with. In hopes to avoid the same issues they did a season ago, the Eagles drafted Jalen Reagor in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft with the No. 21 pick.
While the Eagles could have traded up to select CeeDee Lamb, they chose to remain put and select Reagor, placing heavy expectations on the TCU product. Despite being a rookie, Reagor is going to see a prominent role in Philadelphia’s passing attack and if he doesn’t produce, fans will undoubtedly be remembering the time they could have had Lamb instead.
