Sidney Jones
In addition to the decision to move Mills to safety, the Eagles made a splash move by acquiring Darius Slay via trade. Without a doubt, the acquisition of Slay gives Philadelphia a much-needed boost in the secondary.
On the other hand, the Eagles are still going to need another cornerback to step up as the No. 2 option for the defense. Since being selected in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Sidney Jones has been unable to avoid the injury bug in the NFL.
Nonetheless, Jones is setting high expectations for himself in 2020, telling fans they ‘haven’t seen nothing yet’. Even though he’ll have to earn a starting job this offseason, Jones figures to be given a chance to prove himself at some point next season.
