3. Offensive line

The offensive line was a huge need for the Browns in the offseason. This led to their selection of Jedrick Wills Jr. in the first round of April’s draft. This is a game where the line will have to come up big.

The Colts defensive front was much improved in the offseason. Cleveland could be in for a long afternoon if their line is not ready to play but they will be up to the task.

One major reason why the Browns are running the ball so well and why Mayfield has cut down on turnovers is because of the play of the offensive line. With Chubb out, the line will have to pick up some slack for the other runners.

One way to neutral the Colts’ defense is to not allow them to get to the quarterback. A secondary can only cover for so long. If Mayfield has time, he could be very dangerous standing back and finding an open receiver.
