1. Raheem Mostert Scores 2 Rushing TDs
The Jets do not have a very good defense. After trading Jamal Adams, New York has a lot of holes to fill. With that being said, the 49ers may gash them on the ground this week, especially when factoring in the passing game will be without George Kittle.
The 49ers have a dominant offensive line and their running backs are all very fast and could make big plays. Raheem Mostert is the one back who could really be in for a monster performance.
The 49ers’ offense is built on their run game. San Fransisco will be without their two best receiving options. Because of that, the 49ers will look to the ground game even more this week. Mostert could eventually evolve into the bell cow back in this backfield. He will get at least one redzone touchdown this week and possibly one big breakout run.
During the playoffs, we saw the potential of Mostert. He was dominant against the Packers and was a huge part of their win. After giving him a new contract, San Fransisco may turn to him more often. This week may be the first week where Mostert gets a majority of the touches.
