4. Jerry Jeudy Records First 100-Yard Game
The Broncos will be without their No. 1 wide receiver for the remainder of the season. It’s a good thing they used their first two picks in April’s draft on wide receivers. Notably, their first-round selection on Jerry Jeudy.
Jeudy finished with four catches in each of his first two games. He has totaled 118 yards and has not scored a touchdown yet.
Jeudy was arguably the top receiver prospect in the draft and was the second one selected. Denver will need their first-round selection to step up and contribute, especially with a backup quarterback.
The Broncos will have to throw the ball to keep up in this game and that means Jeudy will be targeted early and often. This is a chance for him to log his first career 100-yard game, and it will not be his last.
