3. Todd Gurley Turns Back the Clock

During the Falcons’ season opener, Todd Gurley made his debut with his new team. The results were intriguing but certainly were not onpar with the All-Pro performances he achieved earlier in his career. However, he still had a solid outing.

In Week 1, Gurley finished with 14 carries and produced 56 yards and one touchdown run during those sequences. It will be important for the Falcons that he ramps up his production, especially when considering he will be going up against a defense that will be without three starting linebackers.

Against Gurley’s former team in Week 1, the Cowboys allowed Malcolm Brown to record 79 rushing yards and two touchdown runs, all while doing so on 18 carries. That type of production is something that Gurley is capable of achieving in his own right.

During the Falcons’ Week 2 matchup with the Cowboys, Gurley could end up recording an impressive output exceeding 90 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. It would be a throwback performance for the star running back.
