Texans, Ravens
NFL Analysis Network

The Baltimore Ravens are coming off a dominant Week 1 victory over the Browns. However, their opponent, the Houston Texans lost to the defending champs. This is a very tough start for Houston, who are going against two of the best teams in the NFL.

While the Texans have a lot of talent, they don’t have the weapons the Chiefs have. However, the do match up better with the run-heavy Texans. If the Texans want to win this game they will need their playmakers to play their best.

The Ravens’ offense is incredibly dynamic. They are mostly a running team. However, Lamar Jackson has become one of the top passing threats in the league. The Texans will have a really hard time stopping Lamar this week. He is looking to make another MVP run. He should be in for yet another productive week that helps him make a case for MVP. Watch for a lot of highlight plays and an incredible performance.

Much like Lamar Jackson, the Texans’ offense revolves around their quarterback. Deshaun Watson must play at an MVP level if Houston is going to make a playoff run. Two straight losses, followed by a dangerous Steelers team and a Vikings team full of talent could spell trouble for Houston. This game could turn into a shootout. Deshaun Watson has to be at the top of his game so the Texans do not fall into a hole they can’t climb out of.

The Ravens and Texans have two of the league’s best quarterbacks. While Baltimore has more talent as a team, you can never count Watson out. This could be a game that shows if the Texans are still among the league’s best after trading DeAndre Hopkins despite their Week 1 loss to the Chiefs.

Let’s take a look at five bold predictions for the Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans matchup in Week 2 of the 2020 NFL season.
