4. New York Jets

The New York Jets have put together a disappointing rushing attack since signing Le’Veon Bell. That doesn’t appear set to change in 2020 considering the talk from training camp has been that Frank Gore has outperformed Bell heading into the season.

Perhaps the most concerning part of Bell’s lackluster training camp performance is that he talked about how great he feels earlier this month. If he was so confident heading into the 2020 season but has underachieved, is he going to be able to turn things around ahead of Week 1?

If the Jets don’t want to be left waiting to figure out if Bell is going to turn things around, they could look to acquire Alvin Kamara. In addition, New York’s receivers already are dealing with injury concerns, and having Kamara to catch out of the backfield would help alleviate some of that.

There would still be real concerns about the Jets’ offensive line and that would make it difficult for Kamara to thrive on carries. However, he could help take some pressure off Sam Darnold in the meantime as New York continues to build up the trenches.
