1. Washington Football Team
It’s still early in the rebuilding process for the Washington Football Team when it comes to their offense. The defense has plenty of talent, particularly in the front-seven. However, there is a real lack of playmaking talent in Washington’s offense.
The impact of a receiving threat out of the backfield should not be understated for teams led by both head coach Ron Rivera and offensive coordinator Scott Turner. Both experienced incredible success with Christian McCaffrey during their time with the Carolina Panthers.
It’s important to set up second-year quarterback Dwayne Haskins for success. Right now, Washington’s offense is underwhelming with basically just Terry McLaurin as the main explosive talent as the No. 1 receiver. Adding a player like Alvin Kamara would help substantially.
By adding Kamara into the backfield, Washington would go above and beyond to replace Derrius Guice after recently moving on from him late in the offseason. Overall, they’d be able to stack up with the talented backs throughout the rest of the NFC East, too.
