Bears: 3 reasons Chicago should go all-out to sign Tom Brady

Tom Brady is revered as arguably the greatest quarterback of all-time and for the first time in his career, he’ll get a chance to choose where he plays in 2020. Could the Chicago Bears be a team that tries to enter their name in the sweepstakes for Brady?

For the past 20 seasons, Brady has been the franchise quarterback of the New England Patriots. Over his career, he’s the most winningest quarterback in the regular season and has six Super Bowl rings.

Despite his prior accomplishments, Brady still has the competitive drive to perform at a high-level, even at 42-years-old. However, it remains to be seen who he’ll be suiting up for next season.

Following the end of the 2019 season, Chicago’s general manager, Ryan Pace, stated that Mitchell Trubisky would be the starting quarterback in 2020. But in the business of the NFL, we all know that can be subject to change.

Given how Trubisky played in 2019, the Bears should consider all of their options at the quarterback position. With that in mind, here are three reasons why Chicago should go all-out to sign Brady in the offseason.
