Bears: 5 burning questions entering the 2020 NFL season

What seems like forever ago, in his first season as head coach in 2018, Matt Nagy led the Chicago Bears to a 12-4 record and the No. 3 seed in the NFC. However, after a flourishing debut season, Nagy and the Bears fell short of making the playoffs in 2019.

Nonetheless, Chicago has made a few moves throughout the offseason that could put them on track to compete for the NFC North title. Of course, there was no move that the Bears made that has received as much attention as the trade for veteran Nick Foles.

With Chicago acquiring Foles from the Jacksonville Jaguars, he and Mitch Trubisky will battle it out during training camp until one of them emerges victorious. Seeing that Foles has played under Nagy before, the playing field is more even than some people are leading on.

Besides the situation at quarterback, Chicago has a few questions that need to be answered. In light of that, let’s take a look at five burning questions for the Bears entering the 2020 season.
