1. Jesper Horsted
Jesper Horsted appeared in six games for the Bears last season. In the offseason, Chicago acknowledged the tight end position as a major need and they addressed it in many ways.
The Bears signed Jimmy Graham to a two-year deal in free agency. They also used their second round pick on Notre Dame tight end Cole Kmet. Just like that, Chicago added their top two tight ends heading into the season.
Demetrius Harris signed a one-year deal with the Bears and he will most likely be No. 3 on the depth chart.
It seems as though Horsted will have to beat out Harris or impress enough that the Bears decide to keep four tight ends. The Bears have made many moves with their tight ends including trading Adam Shaheen to the Miami Dolphins releasing Ben Braunecker.
