Another training camp has arrived for the Chicago Bears. The 2019 season saw Chicago miss the playoffs once again. The Bears have made the playoffs just once in the last nine years. It is going to be an uphill battle if they want to return in 2020, mainly because of their quarterback position.
Mitch Trubisky does not look like the answer under center. Chicago made a trade for Nick Foles with the Jacksonville Jaguars to give them another option. In most cases, if you have two quarterbacks heading into camp, you do not have one. This is the case for the Bears. It is likely that Trubisky starts out the season as the starter but Foles could be the one finishing it.
The 2020 season is about finding their answer under center. There are also some players in need of contract extensions including No. 1 receiver Allen Robinson. First, the Bears have to evaluate their roster in training camp and see who will not be on the team.
These five names are on the bubble in camp and will need to have strong practices.
