Browns: 3 LBs Cleveland could target to replace Mack Wilson

The Cleveland Browns lost Joe Schobert in free agency this offseason and they were confident in Mack Wilson having a breakout campaign in his second year in the league. However, after suffering a knee injury early in training camp, Wilson could have his 2020 season come to an end before it even began.

It has yet to be determined if Wilson is going to undergo surgery, which would sideline him for the entirety of the season. Regardless of what he chooses to do, Wilson is inevitably going to miss an extended period of time for the Browns.

Shortly after Wilson’s unfortunate injury, it was revealed that Cleveland will be bringing in Malcolm Smith in for a workout. While Smith could be a plausible option for the Browns, they could look elsewhere for someone that could fill in for Wilson in the middle of the defense.

At this point in the offseason, there is a limited of quality linebackers still available. Nevertheless, let’s take a look at three linebackers that the Browns could pursue as a possible replacement for Wilson in the 2020 season.
