4. Guard

The Cardinals have two solid options either side of the center. Free-agent signing Justin Pugh, who can also play right tackle, excelled in pass protection in 2017 for the Giants. Offensive guard Mike Iupati is known more for his run blocking, but injuries have prevented him for serving as a tone-setter in recent times.

The main problems lie behind the starters.

Evan Boehm is the primary backup, but a disappointing 2017 saw him benched. Beyond him there is undrafted free-agent Will House and two unknowns in Josh Allen and Greg Pyke.

Interior offensive line play could wind up being a problem for Arizona all season.
