As the Dallas Cowboys prepare for their Week 1 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, there are a lot of questions surrounding the franchise. What will the future of Dak Prescott hold? Can Mike McCarthy bring the change that finally takes the Cowboys to the Super Bowl?

There are many more questions, but the Cowboys will have a chance to begin answering them this week. Going up against a Rams team that struggled mightily in 2020, Dallas should have the opportunity for a big win.

Prescott is expected to be a dark horse MVP candidate this season, although after not receiving a contract extension this offseason, his future with the Cowboys is somewhat in doubt. He has more weapons than ever this year with Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, and CeeDee Lamb adding up to one of the league’s elite wide receiver rooms.

Obviously, the Cowboys also have Ezekiel Elliott on the roster, who is expected to have a big season with McCarthy in town. McCarthy loved pounding the football on the ground with the Green Bay Packers and that will not change with Elliott in Dallas.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at three bold predictions for the Cowboys in their Week 1 matchup with the Rams.
