3 dream trade targets for the Dallas Cowboys in 2020

Yannick Ngakoue

Since the end of last season, Yannick Ngakoue has made it clear that his time with the Jacksonville Jaguars has reached its climax. Despite what Ngakoue has said, the Jaguars placed their franchise tag on him, dragging on the saga between both sides.

Throughout the offseason, Jacksonville has been unable to part ways with Ngakoue — likely due to their steep asking price. Nevertheless, the longer they hold onto him, the more probable it is that the Jaguars’ asking price is cheaper than it was earlier this offseason.

Of the teams that have been listed as possible suitors for Ngakoue, the Cowboys haven’t been mentioned much — and for good reason. With a limited amount of cap space, Dallas would need to make some significant room to fit Ngakoue on the roster. However, a pass-rushing duo of Ngakoue and Demarcus Lawrence would be absolutely lethal for the Cowboys.
