Jalen Reagor Thrives As A Rookie

With no shortage of injuries at the wide receiver position throughout the 2019 season, the Philadelphia Eagles’ offense was limited. That’s why they emphasized taking little time to draft a talent at this spot like Jalen Reagor, who is a speedy deep-threat that can make big plays.

As long as Reagor can stay healthy, he could be a real influencing factor in the Eagles’ receiving corps. There is still plenty of questions surrounding Alshon Jeffery’s future with the team and if he will even play much of a role in the team’s offense in 2020.

There would be even greater room for Reagor to be involved in the offense if DeSean Jackson fails to stay healthy. He will be playing primarily in the Z receiver role as a rookie and the talent at this particular spot mostly consists of Jackson, Reagor, and JJ Arcega-Whiteside.

An initial adjustment period could be required for Reagor, especially when considering the unique circumstances of this offseason. Regardless, it’s likely he will manage to produce a strong performance in his rookie campaign playing a pivotal role for the Eagles.
