Fantasy Football: 5 risky wide receiver plays for Week 4

Darius Slayton, Giants

4. Darius Slayton, New York Giants

Darius Slayton showed a lot during his rookie season. He had a great connection with Daniel Jones in 2019 and that continued in Week 1. Slayton posted 102 yards and two scores against a tough Pittsburgh defense in the opener. For those of you who jumped on the bandwagon, it is time to get off.

Slayton has just six catches for 86 yards and no scores in the last two games combined. The Giants’ offense has been less than impressive this season. Jones has yet to take the next step and is still turning the ball over at a high rate. They will face the Los Angeles Rams in this game which means Jalen Ramsey will be on the other side.

If we had to label a No. 1 receiver on the Giants, it would be Slayton. Sterling Shepard is on IR and Golden Tate has been a bust since coming to New York.

Slayton gained some fans and some believers last season and in Week 1. It did not take long to fall. As we head into Week 4, Slayton should be comfortably on the bench for your fantasy football team.
