Wide receivers can struggle getting used to the speed of NFL corners and the complexity of defenses which makes choosing a rookie wide receiver even tougher. But if there is one guy who could be a sleeper pick, Ruggs III is the man.
Ruggs III will end up being the primary deep threat for the Raiders this year in their first year in Las Vegas. With a decent year from Carr that should result in a lot of receptions and yards for the rookie and could land him high up fantasy leader boards by the end of the year.
In a highly favorable matchup with the Carolina Panthers in Week 1, expect Ruggs III to shoot onto the scene and make a statement. It’s important for fantasy football players to capitalize on these types of situations.
