Fantasy Football: Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Recommendations for Week 5

USA TODAY Sports

TEs to Start in Week 5

Falcons’ Austin Hooper (vs. Steelers): Every weapon on the Falcons offense should be started this week, Austin Hooper included. With TEs being a tough position to rely on, Hooper could bring you success this week. He faces a Steelers defense, who allows the most points to TEs this year.

Vikings’ Kyle Rudolph (vs. Eagles): This pick isn’t really made based off of match ups. The Eagles actually allow the sixth least amount of points to TEs this year. They just lost Rodney McLeod for the season though, hurting their already weak secondary.

TEs to Sit in Week 5

Colts’ Eric Ebron (vs. Patriots): With Jack Doyle likely out again, Eric Ebron will have to assume the starting spot at TE again. Ebron has actually been solid this season, ranking as the fifth highest scoring TE so far this year. He faces a New England Patriots team who’s allowed the least amount of points to TEs this year.

Saints’ Benjamin Watson (vs. Redskins): With the amount of weapons in the New Orleans Saints offense, it’s hard to trust Benjamin Watson. Watson also has a tough match up this week, as he goes up against a Washington Redskins squad, who allows the second least amount of points to TEs this season.
