The Giants Finish as a Top 5 Scoring Offense
With so many weapons in the New York Giants’ offense, it would be hard to imagine the unit struggling. The bar can’t be set that low as their success as a team will be predicated on putting up a lot of points. They have the talent to do that and finishing as a top-five scoring team wouldn’t be out of the question.
While it is usually very uncommon for a team to jump from the 19th scoring offense to the top-five, it’s not entirely unheard of. The San Francisco 49ers ranked 22nd in total scoring in 2018 and jumped all the way to the No. 3 spot in 2019.
Another factor to look at is how good the Giants’ offense was in the last three games of last season. When Saquan Barkley was fully healthy, New York was the fourth-best scoring offense. They averaged over 30 points per game during that stretch, providing a big bright spot in a somewhat dark season.
The Giants should be able to carry that momentum into next season. New York has all of their playmakers healthy along with an improved offensive line. Daniel Jones has some experience under his belt and a deeper understanding of the NFL game. This offensive explosion will be a welcome sight for a Giants fanbase who has dealt with offensive struggles for years.
