Round 7, Pick 250: Tremayne Anchrum (IOL, Clemson)

Grade: A++

Finally, finally, finally, the Rams decided to take an offensive lineman in the 2020 NFL Draft. Despite what some people believed, Los Angeles should be concerned with the entire offensive line, especially in the interior at both guard spots.

To complete their list of draftees in 2020, the Rams drafted Tremayne Anchrum with the No. 250 out of Clemson. Anchrum is capable of playing tackle or guard, but it’s probable that he kicks inside to guard in the NFL.

Given the uncertainty surrounding the interior of their offensive line, it would’ve been better for Los Angeles to select an interior lineman in the earlier rounds. At the least, I guess it’s better late than never, right? For the sole fact they finally took an interior lineman, the Rams get an A++ for taking Anchrum.
