Green Bay Packers: 5 Reasons They Will Still Make The Playoffs

Packers Wire – USA Today

Green Bay’s Receivers Are Stepping Up

Another big reason for the Packers’ good play of late has been the receivers stepping up. Davante Adams has been great all year, but Marquez Valdes-Scantling’s emergence has been a major key.

As we previously talked about, Valdes-Scantling has been helping save the Packers’ season.

Randall Cobb has missed quite a bit of time this season due to injury problems, which has made the Packers turn to their young receivers. Geronimo Allison also went down for the season with injury. That has made Valdes-Scantling and Equanimeous St. Brown develop quicker than originally expected.

Green Bay’s offense has gotten back to being dangerous. Rodgers has the help he needs to put up big numbers and it should be entertaining to watch moving forward.
