Lamar Jackson Went Viral In HighSchool
As a resident of Boynton Beach, where Lamar Jackson played High School football, I knew Lamar Jackson would take the football world by storm. Playing against him in high school, we prepared for Lamar with two QB Spy’s and our lineman trying to contain him in the pocket. It didn’t work and we lost 54-0.
Lamar caught the nations attention when a video of him scrambling for a touchdown went viral on the popular social media app Vine. The video was when Jackson stopped on a dime and a defender embarrassingly flew right past him. Jackson then walked casually into the end zone. The show of athleticism was just the tip of the Iceberg for Jackson, who always makes every incredible athletic feat seem effortless.
After dominating opponents during his Senior Year, Jackson went to the University of Louisville. Jackson went on to become one of the most successful players in college football history. The viral video certainly helped catch scouts eyes. While Lamar was obviously talented enough to attend whatever school he wanted, the Vine will forever be linked to Lamar’s legacy.
