Week 2 matchup: at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Sunday, Sept. 20

Two turnovers for Teddy

All the focus was on Brady and his debut with the Bucs, but the fact is that there is an underrated defense in Tampa Bay. They will be playing their home opener in this one and trying to avoid the dreaded 0-2 start.

The defense will have a chance to step up in this game and eliminate Christian McCaffrey. That is hard to do but if they contain him, Bridgewater will be forced to make plays. This could lead to some turnovers for the Panthers.

Scores a rushing touchdown

One positive and one negative for Bridgewater entering Week 2. He was the Panthers’ second leading rusher behind McCaffrey. Bridgewater does not run often, just four times for 26 yards in Week 1, but he has decent mobility. It is obvious that McCaffrey gets the goal line carries, and every other carry no matter where they are on the field but Bridgewater can steal one throughout the course of this game.
