NFL: 3 wide receivers that could be traded during the 2020 season

Chuck Cook-USA TODAY Sports

Kenny Stills

Before the 2019 season, Kenny Stills was traded to the Houston Texans as part of the massive trade that sent Laremy Tunsil to Houston as well. Despite being a throw-in piece to the Tunsil trade, Stills would prove his worth with the Texans a season ago.

The former Sooner would catch 40 passes for 561 yards and four touchdowns. In addition to those numbers, Stills averaged 10.2 yards per target and would produce a 121.8 quarterback rating when targeted. Both marks were the second-best in the NFL among wide receivers.

When the Texans traded Hopkins this offseason, it seemingly paved the way for Stills to have a larger role in the offense. However, shortly after shipping Hopkins to the Arizona Cardinals, Houston signed Randall Cobb, traded for Brandin Cooks, and they still have high hopes for Will Fuller if he can remain healthy.

Seeing that Stills is entering the final year of his current contract, the Texans could look to deal him elsewhere in the upcoming season. There should be plenty of teams that express interest in the vertical threat ahead of the 2020 NFL trade deadline.

Possible landing spots: Green Bay Packers, New York Jets, Washington Football Team
