Baltimore Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens must find weapons for Lamar Jackson. The reason for that is a closer look at Michael Vick and Donavan McNabb. Both were great running QB’s and did plenty of damage with their legs, but their receiving core was almost non-existent much of their careers.
Jackson is a great threat, but adding a playmaker such as Chris Godwin could put the Ravens in the driver’s seat in the AFC for years to come. In 2019, the Ravens’ offense finished 32nd in pass attempts and 27th in yards. The main threat for Jackson at the receiver position was Marquise Brown with 46 catches.
Jackson and Mark Ingram saw heavy doses on the ground, but without a true No. 1 option at the receiver position, the Ravens’ offense struggled in the playoffs. Adding Godwin would change the dynamic of not only the Ravens’ offense, but how Jackson plays the game.
