Las Vegas Raiders

There was little to like about the Las Vegas Raiders’ defense during the 2019 season. That’s why they attempted to overhaul the unit by being active in free agency and the 2020 NFL Draft to add more talent.

Based on the makeup of the Raiders’ roster, the cornerback position could feature an intriguing position battle. One of the starting spots will surely go to Trayvon Mullen. The second-round pick from the 2019 NFL Draft managed to impressive and earned 10 starts.

The No. 2 cornerback spot could be determined by a competition between veteran Prince Amukamara and rookie Damon Arnette out of Ohio State, who was a first-round selection in the 2020 NFL Draft.

The experience Amukamara brings to the table could play a pivotal role in deciding the outcome of this position battle. However, there is a lot to like about Arnette’s skill-set and he appears capable of making a legitimate push to win this competition.
