Los Angeles Rams

The running back position may catch the most attention when it comes to the Los Angeles Rams’ position battles in training camp. Perhaps the most important of all is what happens at guard after Austin Blythe moves over to the center position.

There. area variety of possible options for the Rams to turn to for the vacancy at both guard spots on the first-unit offensive line. Between Austin Corbett and Joseph Noteboom along with a few dark-horse options like David Edwards and Tremayne Anchrum.

The front-runner for one of these roles appears to be Corbett. The Rams acquired him from the Cleveland Browns during the 2019 season, so they have invested in him. Let’s not forget, he was also the opening pick of the second-round in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Noteboom should be viewed as a legitimate candidate for one of the starting guard roles, too. He began last season as the starting left guard prior to suffering a season-ending knee injury, requiring surgery to repair both a torn ACL and MCL.
