Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints
Last year, Alvin Kamara seemed liked he took a step back from his fantastic sophomore year. There were questions whether he could serve as a feature back on the Saints’ offense. However, looking at his numbers, Kamara had a solid season. The issue he faced last year was staying healthy.
Often he struggled with injuries. Kamara also had four fumbles, which isn’t a huge number but is a bit concerning for a back that has under 200 carries. However, that was never an issue until last year. In 2020, expect Kamara to be fully rested and that should help with both the injuries concerns and the fumbling issues.
The thing that makes Alvin Kamara so special is his balance. Kamara is the type of back who can bounce off contact, juke a defender, then cut upfield, almost effortlessly. Like McCaffrey, Kamara is also incredibly versatile. He can line up as a receiver, catch out of the backfield, run up the middle, or bounce runs outside for big gains. Kamara also has a very strong Saints O-Line that opens lanes for him.
2020 Prediction for Alvin Kamara: 1,150 rushing yards, 700 receiving yards, nine rushing touchdowns, and four receiving touchdowns
